So, I have been much more self aware over the past few months and one indication of stress for me has been three cups of coffee by 3pm. It goes without saying that I haven’t eaten by 3pm.
I won’t pretend that I will reduce my caffeine intake but I do focus on taking breaks, getting up from my desk and moving around.
Self-care and self awareness are critically important. Remember that being kind to others includes being kind to ourselves. If you are irritable or unhappy, no one benefits from that. Who wants to be miserable? Not me! π
